LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: PLANET TELEX/RADIOHEAD
You can force it but it will not come
You can taste it but it will not form
You can crush it but it's always here
You can crush it but it's always near
Chasing you home saying
Everything is broken
Everyone is broken
You can force it but it will stay stung
You can crush it as dry as a bone
You can walk it home straight from school
You can kiss it, you can break all the rules
All the rules but still
Everything is broken
Everyone is broken
Everyone is, everyone is broken
Everyone is, everything is broken
Why can't you forget?
Why can't you forget?
Why can't you forget?

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: PARKLIFE/BLUR FEAT. PHIL DANIELS

Confidence is a preference for the habitual voyeur of what is known as
(Parklife)
A morning suit can be avoided if you take a route straight through what is known as
(Parklife)
John's got brewers droop he gets intimidated by the dirty pigeons they love a bit of it
(Parklife)
Who's that gut lord marching you should cut down on your porklife mate get some exercise
All the people
So many people
They all go hand in hand
Hand in hand through their parklife
You know what I mean
I get up when I want except on wednesdays when I get rudely awakened by the dustmen
(Parklife)
I put my trousers on, have a cup of tea and I think about leaving the house
(Parklife)
I feed the pigeons, I sometimes feed the sparrows too it gives me a sense of enormous well being
(Parklife)
And then i'm happy for the rest of the day safe in the knowledge there will always be a bit of my heart devoted to it
All the people
So many people
They all go hand in hand
Hand in hand through their parklife
It's got nothing to do with vorsprung durch technic you know
And it's not about you joggers who go round and round and round
All the people
So many people
They all go hand in hand
Hand in hand through their parklife
All the people
So many people
They all go hand in hand
Hand in hand through their parklife

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: PLANET EARTH/DURAN DURAN
Only came outside to watch night fall with the rain
I heard you making patterns rhyme like
Some new romantic looking for the TV sound
I'll see you're right some other time love
Look now, look all around
There's no sign of life
Voices another sound
Can you hear me now?
This is planet earth
You're looking at planet earth
Bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop
This is planet earth
My head is stuck on something precious let me know
If you're coming down to land is there
Anybody out there trying to get through
My eyes so cloudy I can't see you

There's no sign of life
Voices another sound
Can you hear me now?

Sleep fast once there's nothing left inside
That we all can love
That we all can love
That we all
Sleep fast once there's nothing left inside
That we all can love
That we all can love
That we all
And I see you messing me around
I don't want to know
I don't want to know
I don't want
And I see you messing me around
I don't want to know
I don't want to know
I don't want
Broken hearts make it real
Broken hearts make it real
Broken hearts make it real
Broken hearts make it real
Broken hearts make it real
Broken hearts make it rain
Broken hearts
This our world of our mankind
That you can create
That you can create
That you can
This our world of our mankind
That we can create
That we can create
That we can
And I see you messing me around

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: CLUB FOOT/KASABIAN
One take control of me
You're messing with the enemy
Said it's two, it's another trick
Messing with my mind, I wake up
Chase down an empty street
Blindly snap the broken beats
Said it's gone with the dirty trick
It's taken all these days to find you
I tell you I want you
I tell you I need you
Friends take control of me
Stalking 'cross the gallery
All these pills got to operate
The colour quits and all invade us
There it goes again
Take me to the edge again
All I got is a dirty trick
I'm chasing down all walls to save you
I tell you I want you
I tell you I need you
The blood ain't on my face
Just wanted you near me
I tell you I want you
I tell you I need you
The blood ain't on my face
Just wanted you near me

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: SHAKE DOG SHAKE/THE CURE

Wake up in the dark
The after-taste of anger in the back of my mouth
Spit it on the wall
And cough some more
And scratch my skin with razor blades
And make up in the new blood
And try to look so good
Follow me
Make up in the new blood
And follow me to where the real fun is
As stale and selfish as a sick dog
Spurning sex like an animal of god
I'll tear your red hair by the roots
And hold you blazing
Hold you cherished in the dead electric light
Your face
I'll never see you this way again
I captured it so perfectly
As if I knew you'd disappear away
Shake shake shake shake
Shake shake shake shake
Shake dog shake
Shake shake shake shake
Shake shake shake shake
Shake dog shake
You hit me again
You howl and hit me again
The same sharp pain
Cuts me in the dark
And cuts me from my throat to my pounding heart
My heart, my shaking heart
Shake shake
Shake shake shake shake
Shake shake shake shake
Shake dog shake
We slept all night in the virgin's bed
And dreamed of death
And breathed like sick dogs
We slept all night in the virgin's bed
And breathed like death
And dreamed of sick dogs
Shake shake
Shake dog shake
Shake shake
Shake dog shake
Wake up, wake up, wake up
Shake dog shake
Wake up, wake up, wake up
Shake dog shake
Make up in the new blood
Shake up in the new blood
Fake up in this new blood
And follow me to where the real fun is
Shake dog shake
Shake dog shake
Shake dog shake

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: THE DAILY MAIL/RADIOHEAD
A Glastonbury, a sorpresa.
The moonies are up on a mountain
The lunatics have taken over the asylum
Waiting on the rapture
Singing we're here
To keep your prices down
Feed you to the hounds
To the Daily Mail
Together, together
You made a pig's ear
You made a mistake
Paid off security
And got through the gate
You got away with it
But we lie in wait
Where's the truth?
What's the use?
In hanging round
Lost and found
And with your head in the sand
Fat chance, no plan
No regard for human life
You'll keep time
You've no right
You're fast to lose
You're willing to lose
To jump the queue
Go back again
President
For life
Lord of all
The flies in the sky
The beasts of the earth
The fish in the sea
Have lost command

CONCERTI: INTERPOL/ATLANTICO/ROMA
SAY HELLO TO THE ANGELS

Where to begin?
This snake has left us with last years skin
Eyeless diamonds of a life that's been and done
Memory is blind
Where did it end?
We fell together like an accident
Two lives colliding like continents
There be mountains between us and time
Low slung and highly strung she said run with that
Low slung and highly strung she said run with that
Low slung and highly strung she said run with that
Low slung and highly strung she said run with that
Oh lie, you can take me for a long ride
My heart is high like a returning tide
Highlight your body like a coast line
Hey miss I always said I wouldn't reminiscence
Become too busy with regrets to create a kiss
But i was unwise
Once I thought I was the hero they were waiting for
And with my words I would change the law
And remake it as mine
Low slung and highly strung she said run with that
Low slung and highly strung she said run with that
Low slung and highly strung she said run with that
Low slung and highly strung she said run with that
Oh lie, you can take me for a long ride
My heart is high like a returning tide
Highlight your body like a coast line
When you were born the golden apple
Tell them I'll answer instead
You are my one, my only sad maid
Go and present my head
Go and present my head
Go and present my head
Oh lie, you can take me for a long ride
My heart is high like a returning tide
Highlight your body like a coast line

CONCERTI: THE NATIONAL/INTERPOL
Una due giorni milanese straordinaria, probabilmente irripetibile: due concerti eccezionali in appena 24 ore.

1° GIORNO/THE NATIONAL

Rosemary
Heaven restores you in life
You're coming with me
Through the aging, the fearing, the strife
It's the smiling on the package
It's the faces in the sand
It's the thought that moves you upwards
Embracing me with two hands
Right will take you places
Yeah maybe to the beach
When your friends they do come crying
Tell them now your pleasure's set upon slow-release
Hey wait
Great smile
Sensitive to fate not
Denial
But hey who's on trial?
It took a life spent with no cellmate
The long way back
Saying, "why can't we look the other way?"
We speaks about travel
Yeah, we think about the land
We smart like all peoples
Feeling real tan
I could take you places
Do you need a new man?
Wipe the pollen from the faces
Make revision to a dream while you wait in the van
Hey wait
Great smile
Sensitive to fate not
Denial
But hey who's on trial?
It took a life spent with no cellmate
To find the long way back
Saying, "why can't we look the other way?"
You're weightless, you are exotic
You need something for which to care
Saying, "why can't we look the other way?"
Leave some shards under the belly
Lay some grease inside my hand
It's a sentimental jury
And the makings of a good plan
You've come to love me lightly
Yeah you've come to hold me tight
Is this motion everlasting
Or do shutters pass in the night?
Rosemary
Oh heaven restores you in life
I spent a lifespan with no cellmate
The long way back
Saying, "why can't we look the other way?"
You're weightless, semi-erotic
You need someone to take you there
Saying, "why can't we look the other way?"
Why can't we just play the other game?
Why can't we just look the other way?

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: OBSTACLE 1/INTERPOL
I wish I could eat the salt off your last faded lips
We can cap the old times
Make playing only logical harm
We can cop the old lines
Clay-making that nothing else will change
But she can read, she can read, she can read, she can read, she's bad
But she can read, she can read, she can read, she can read, she's bad
She's bad
And it's different now that I'm poor and aging
I'll never see this face again
You go stabbing yourself in the neck
We can find new ways of living
Make playing only logical harm
And we can top the old times
Clay-making that nothing else will change
But she can read, she can read, she can read, she can read, she's bad
But she can read, she can read, she can read, she can read, she's bad
She's bad
And it's different now that I'm poor and aging
I'll never see this place again
You go stabbing yourself in the neck
But it's different now that I'm poor and aging
I'll never see this place again
You go stabbing yourself in the neck
It's in the way that she posed
It's in the things that she puts in my head
Her stories are boring and stuff
She's always calling my bluff
She puts, she puts the weights into my little heart
And she gets in my room and she takes it apart
She puts the weights into my little heart
I said she puts the weights into my little heart
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
It's in the way that she walks
Her heaven is never enough
She puts the weights in my heart
She puts, she puts the weights into my little heart

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: AFRAID OF EVERYONE/THE NATIONAL
Venom radio and venom television
I'm afraid of everyone
I'm afraid of everyone
Lay the young blue bodies
With the old red violets
I'm afraid of everyone
I'm afraid of everyone
With my kid on my shoulders I try
Not to hurt anybody I like
But I don't have the drugs to sort
I don't have the drugs to sort it out
Sort it out
I defend my family
With my orange umbrella
I'm afraid of everyone
I'm afraid of everyone
With my shiny new starspangled tennis shoes on
I'm afraid of everyone
I'm afraid of everyone
With my kid on my shoulders I try
Not to hurt anybody I like
But I don't have the drugs to sort
I don't have the drugs to sort it out
Sort it out

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: WITH THE PRIDE/SPANDAU BALLET
Build on rock or build on sand
They're never gonna lend a hand
So nothing grows or nothing stands
I can't take any more
I can't take any more
There's not a lot of space for me
But I've still got my dignity
I've got my price
Don't say I'm free
I can't take anymore
I can't take anymore
But I'm hungry
I could eat anything
But I'm hungry
Oh, let's dance, oh, let's swing
And all that I hear are the words that she sings
Now they've taken it all
Now they've taken it all
Just leave me with the pride
Taht I worked for
Now they've taken the reason away
Just leave me with the pride
That I worked for
Today
Just leave me with the pride
Taht I worked for
Now they've taken the reason away
Just leave me with the pride
That I worked for
Today
I'd rather take this cure for life
Than make myself a sacrifice
If living is to pay the price
I can't take anymore
I can't take anymore
It takes a while to understand
When your eyes are full of sand
When only time is in your hands
I can't take anymore
I can't take anymore
But I'm hungry
I could eat anything
But I'm hungry
Oh, let's dance, oh, let's swing
And all that I hear are the words that she sings
Now they've taken it all
Now they've taken it all
Just leave me with the pride
Taht I worked for
Now they've taken the reason away
Just leave me with the pride
That I worked for
Today
Just leave me with the pride
