Non è la prima volta che Billy Corgan s'imbarca in imprese dalla portata titanica (ricordate il quadruplo album "fantasma" Machina II The Friends And Enemies Of Modern Music del 2002?): il nuovo progetto dell'eclettico e dispotico frontman degli Smashing Pumpkins, ispirato ai tarocchi, s'intitola Teargarden By Kaleidyscope, e prevede l'uscita, a partire dal prossimo Halloween (il 31 Ottobre), o giù di lì, di ben 44 nuovi brani, disponibili in download assolutamente gratuito (senza nemmeno il bisogno di effettuare registrazioni) ed illimitato, al ritmo di uno al giorno, direttamente dal sito ufficiale della band. Contemporaneamente, le canzoni saranno vendute anche fisicamente, suddivise in 11 EP a tiratura limitata da 4 pezzi ciascuno. Alla fine, sarà disponibile anche un box set comprendente l'intera opera. Dolcetto o scherzetto, quindi? Non resta che aspettare la fine di Ottobre...
