Night is night And hold me here 'till morning takes my eyes Name his sound And me hold my voice to silence takes it down Break all these lies I've been telling stories all my life
Hey let me ease your mind There's a secret here A grown man could not find
And I told you there was nothing I have to hide This house is dark Nothing lose inside
Name his night Hold me here 'till morning takes my eyes
In the hold of Isaac’s hand and led him to the lonesome hill While his daughter hid and watched She dare not breathe she was so still Just as the angel cried for the slaughter Abraham’s daughter raised her voice
Then the angel asked her what her name was She said I have none Then he asked how can this be? My father never gave me one
And when he saw her raised for the slaughter Abraham’s daughter raised her bold How dare you child defy your father? You better than young Isaac cold
And then I heard you You made me long for To be a part of Something that I can’t see I let this be Something that I can’t fear To be a part of The story belongs to you
Something you said was About a pen and a paper You cannot always write in Is something you have to do Gathering stories The story belongs to you Say that it's gone You know that I disappear
Then I hear you Say that it's gone You put me into A radio You are the radio You are my You are my favourite song
Something is growing On little pieces And into the moment So keep from falling
All the stars All the nights All the rain All the bones All the days All the sphears All the stars All the nights All the tides All the rain All the cheers All the nights I keep saying All the nights All the stars Of your life
He stared at the skyline with a look of avarice He smelled the diesel of a passing train He fell with both hands still in his pockets Killed by the boom and washed away
Oh no, what a tragedy Say what you want about him I say god damn
He wasn't no drug dealer momma He was a dancer With the dull eyes of a steer and a lions mane Bear me no public opinion it never answers Whatever intuition cannot explain
Oh no, what a tragedy Say what you want about him I'll say god damn
No recognition by the state nor senate No epitaph to sing aloud his sweet name No fourteen stations and the nineteenth sonnet Ne weren't no wealthy man but he was a man all the same
Oh no, what a tragedy Say what you want about him Oh no, what a fucking tragedy Say what you want about him I say god damn It weren't the rain that killed him And it weren't his muddy ears It weren't the rain that killed him He was killed by the boom He was killed by the boom
Like a ring Gone down the drain Our love in sunlight At evening pain Like vermin Roman sewers bring Pain and love Are the same thing Are the same thing
In my opinion we are the red birth mark From the old storybook Equal light, equal dark Now let’s flip a coin to see now who’s yin and who is yang It defies opinion whether they’re the same thing
Nothing in common Our blood thicker than broth We’re cut from different sides of the same cloth Our love in sunlight Our pain at evening Have nothing in common yet they’re both the same thing The same thing
The same street The same address The same white hair The same black dress The same sameness From opposites cling Pain and love Are the same thing Are the same thing
In my opinion a line is never crossed Until now I was my inner feelings were always lost Through spirit or season Does the human voice does sing? Death and opinion they are the same thing
Nothing in common Our blood thicker than broth We’re cut from different sides of the same cloth Our love in sunlight Our pain at evening Have nothing in common yet they’re both the same thing The same thing
Nothing in common Our blood thicker than broth We’re cut from different sides of the same cloth Our love in sunlight Our pain at evening Have nothing in common yet they’re both the same thing The same thing
Iʼm tearing up, across your face
Move dust through the light
To find your name
It's only faint
This is not a place
Not yet awake, I'm raised to make
Still alive for you, love
Still alive for you, love
Still alive for you, love
In a matter of a month
From forests, for the soft
Gotta know been lead aloft
So rid of all your stories
What I know, what it is, is boring, wire it up
Now breaking new ground
This is your nightmare calling It's the downside of life in the city Trouble will always find you That's the problem of life in the city It's always a pity That someone goes under
I'll show you the worse side of life That you thought was forgotten forever It's not that it's evil there But it's always lurking around Like a child of the Jago A child of the Jago
The city's a cemetary Everywhere that you dig is another Open it up beneath you And the bad things are pulling you under And once you go under You're gone and forgotten
Some of the symmetry Between the rooftop pools in the sewer It's easy to disappear When you know that nobody would miss you Like a child of the Jago A child of the Jago
Theres always been weary souls That look like they're straight out of fiction Wretched and weather-beaten With the wind blowing rain in their faces It always disgraces In most modern places
There's always a worse kind of place Where it will shock even the sick and the twisted Pocket is there for the picking And the clothes are for living on church day The difference is minor To a child of the Jago
The future is medieval The future is medieval The future is medieval The future is medieval
The future is medieval The future is medieval The future is medieval The future is medieval
Look out ahead I see danger come I want a pistol I want a gun I'm scared baby I wanna run This world's crazy Give me the gun
Baby, baby Ain't it true I'm immortal When I 'm with you But I want a pistol In my hand I wanna go to A different land
I met a man He told me straight "You gotta leave It's getting late" Too many cops Too many guns All trying to do something No-one else has done
Baby, baby Ain't it true I'm immortal When I 'm with you But I want a pistol In my hand I wanna go to A different land
Sometimes it rains so hard And I feel the hurt In my heart Feels like the end of the world I see the children Sharp as knives I see the children Dead and alives Beautiful people Beautiful girls I just feel like It's the end of the world
I walk on concrete I walk on sand But I can't find A safe place to stand I'm scared baby I wanna run This world's crazy Gimme the gun
Baby, baby Ain't it true I'm immortal When I 'm with you But I want a pistol In my hand I wanna go to A different land
Gather round this is the thumbstone Of Peter Pan R.I.P. Say a prayer for all the children Everyone that still believes Peter Pan R.I.P
Clear leaves From his resting place Chase the crows cross the street Let the sun warm his bleeding heart Boy you meant so much to me Peter Pan R.I.P
Peter Pan he wont come back They chained his feet and broke his back Come crying Remember the days Crying sweet tears of joy Remember the days The games that we played
Now you know this is no fairytale His grave is there for all to see Gather round all good children Gather round in memories Peter Pan R.I.P
Peter Pan Don’t look back They clipped your wings and chained you back Come crying Remember the days Crying sweet tears of joy Remember the days The games that we played

01. MEET ME ON THE EQUINOX/DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE 02. FRIENDS/BAND OF SKULLS 03. HEARING DAMAGE/THOM YORKE 04. POSSIBILITY/LYKKE LI 05. A WHITE DEMON LOVE SONG/THE KILLERS 06. SATELLITE HEART/ANYA MARINA 07. I BELONG TO YOU (NEW MOON REMIX)/MUSE 08. ROSYLN/BON IVER & ST. VINCENT 09. DONE ALL WRONG/BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB 10. MONSTERS/HURRICANE BELLS 11. THE VIOLET HOUR/SEA WOLF 12. SHOOTING THE MOON/OK GO 13. SLOW LIFE/GRIZZLY BEAR 14. NO SOUND BUT THE WIND/EDITORS 15. NEW MOON (THE MEADOW)/ALEXANDRE DESPLAT
Do you feel like a chain store? Practically floored One of many zeros Kicked around bored Your ears are full but your empty Holding out your heart To people who never really Care how you are
So give me Coffee and TV History I've seen so much I'm goin' blind And I'm brain dead virtually Sociability It's hard enough for me Take me away from this big bad world And agree to marry me So we can start all over again
Do you go to the country It isn't very far There's people there who will hurt you 'Cause of who you are
Your ears are full of the language There's wisdom there you're sure 'Til the words start slurring And you can't find the door
So give me Coffee and TV History I've seen so much I'm goin' blind And I'm brain dead virtually Sociability It's hard enough for me Take me away from this big bad world And agree to marry me So we can start all over again
So give me Coffee and TV History I've seen so much I'm goin' blind And I'm brain dead virtually Sociability It's hard enough for me Take me away from this big bad world And agree to marry me So we can start all over again Oh, we could start over again
All I say we do Whatever you said that you do You gotta get back up yourself We know so much So much we do No answer In a word you were told That he fixed your shaky hand And what got made was broken too Just to field with you Switching seats with you Tears us apart I don't want it to So peculiar Fix the two of us I am not yourself I don't want it to
Every night turned on grey What is it that you do? You gotta get back up yourself We know so much So much we do No answer In a word you were told That he fixed your shaky hand And what got made was broken too Just to field with you Switching seats with you Tears us apart I don't want it to So peculiar Fix the two of us I am not yourself I didn't want it to
Just to grieve with you Switching seats with you Tears us apart I didn't want it to
What are we going to do? I'd really like if you Turn out the lights as we planned It's gonna hurt I don't want it to
Why did you go? Lots of different reasons Does this mean you can't even come? You think this way Jumping off the see-saw Company just wanting to be
