LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: INHALER/FOALS
Sticks and stones
They break my bones
You make beileve
It's lock and load
It's a dead end road to you and me
You're not rust or gold
I'm strict for sold
I make believe
And I'm not for rent
My head is spent
I guarantee
So can you not go away?
Is just for one day
Impossible, possible
How'd you feel now?
How'd you feel now in a war?
What stands out in you?
Throw you fortune away
And I can't get enough space
Space, space
In your space
I'm playing it coy
I'm almost born
I make believe
I shimmy and shake
I wake and bake
I'm over me
My lungs of heat
I cannot breathe
Don't follow me
You push and shove
I've had enough
You best believe
So can you not go away?
Is just for one day
Impossible, possible
How'd you feel now?
How'd you feel now in a war?
What stands out in you?
Throw you fortune away
And I can't get enough space
Space
I can't get enough space
Space

Intimacy
Is not something you can give away
Is not something you can give away
Intimacy
Is only something you can share
Is only something you can share
With someone else
When you are children for a day
Intimacy
Is not something you can yell alone
Is not something you can yell alone
Intimacy
Is only something you can shout
Is only something you can shout
With someone else
When you find
youth inside your bones

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: MYSTERY COLORS/ASTRONAUTS, ETC.
You had me
Running from the real thing
I didn’t even know the difference
Now i’m feeling so betrayed
We’d spoken
Just the other evening
Outside of someone else’s window
Now I’m feeling so betrayed
Your history
Is coming back to educate me
To put me out of place and take me
To another time
We’re spending
Far too much attention driving
All of our attentions away
From each other
Look into the center of the spinning wheel
Tell me what you feel
Tell me what you feel
Look into the center of the spinning wheel
Tell me what you feel
Look into the center of the spinning wheel
Tell me what you feel
Tell me what you feel
Look into the center of the spinning wheel
Tell me what you feel
New flirtations
And other forms of recreation
I’m in love with foreign places
I’m in love
Mystery colors
And things we cannot tell each other
Locked inside our heaven’s cupboards
Pretend that I’m asleep
Look into the center of the spinning wheel
Tell me what you feel
Tell me what you feel
Look into the center of the spinning wheel
Tell me what you feel
Look into the center of the spinning wheel
Tell me what you feel
Tell me what you feel
Look into the center of the spinning wheel
Tell me what you feel

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: PLANET EARTH/DURAN DURAN
Only came outside to watch night fall with the rain
I heard you making patterns rhyme like
Some new romantic looking for the TV sound
I'll see you're right some other time love
Look now, look all around
There's no sign of life
Voices another sound
Can you hear me now?
This is planet earth
You're looking at planet earth
Bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop
This is planet earth
My head is stuck on something precious let me know
If you're coming down to land is there
Anybody out there trying to get through
My eyes so cloudy I can't see you
Look now, look all around
There's no sign of life
Voices another sound
Can you hear me now?
This is planet earth
You're looking at planet earth
Bop bop bop bop bop bop bop bop
This is planet earth
Look now, look all around
There's no sign of life
Voices another sound
Can you hear me now?
This is planet earth
You're looking at planet earth

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: PELICAN/THE MACCABEES
Diretto da David Wilson
So soon we, so soon we, so soon we, too old to carry
And we knew we, and we knew we, and we knew we only had a little while
In the middle, in the middle, in the middle, just keep ticking over
Before you know it, before you know it, before you know, they pair and pair
To have it all, to have it all, to have it all, and still want more
One thing's for sure, one thing's for sure, one thing's for sure, we’re all getting older
So we take a lover, so we take a lover, so we take a lover, waitin’ in the corner
And before you know it, before you know it, before you know we’re pushing up the daisies
And we’re going back to where we came from
For those we fall and those to come and owe
Is the effort and the more
And again and again and again and again we go
In the end, in the end, in the end, nothing comes easy
So you find a way, so you find a way, so you find a way to take a little with you
For the ones you love, for the ones you love, for the ones you love, are there if they need to
The hero, the hero, the hero
They’re not coming with you
Go back to where we came from
For those we fall and those to come and owe
Is the effort and the more
And again and again and again and again
Go
So soon we, so soon we, so soon we too old to carry
And we knew we, and we knew we, and we knew we only had a little while
In the middle, in the middle, in the middle, just keep ticking over
Before you know it, before you know it, before you know they pair and pair
And go back to where we came from
For those we fall and those to come and owe
Is the effort and the more
And again and again and again and again
Go

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: SACRIFICE/BJÖRK

Why can’t you give her room?
Respect her spatial needs
I feel you compress her
Into a small space
With clairvoyance,
She knew what you needed
And gave it to you
Now her desires are repressed
Arrows in the flesh
When she found your love
Her nature bowed her head
She surrendered
She renounced the world for you
Now she’s poisoned by demands
You cannot answer
Why this sacrifice?
Now she regrets the whole thing
A delayed reaction
When she left her craft voluntarily
For your nest, for your love
Did you understand?
Appreciate
Build a bridge to her
Initiate a touch
Before it’s too late
Say the words to her
That will make her shine
Tell her that you love her
Your generosity will show
In the volume of her glow
Your generosity will show
In the volume of her glow

As the lukewarm hands of the gods
Came down and gently picked my adrenalin pearls
Placed them in their mouths and rinsed all the fear out
Nourished them with their saliva
And rested as if the healthiest pastime
Is being in life-threatening circumstances
And once again be reborn
All birthed and happy
All birthed and happy
All birthed and happy
Best way to start-a-new is to fail miserably
Fail at loving and fail at giving
Fail at creating a flow then realign the whole
And kick into the starthole
And kick into the starthole
And kick into the starthole
To risk all is the end all and the beginning all
To risk all is the end all and the beginning all

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: COSMOGONY/BJÖRK

Heaven, heaven's bodies
Whirl around me
Make me wonder
And they say back then our universe
Was an empty sea until a silver fox
And her cunning mate began to sing
A song that became the world we know
Heaven, heaven's bodies
Whirl around me
Make me wonder
And they say back then our universe
Was a cold black egg until the god inside
Burst out and from its shattered shell
He made what became the world we know
Heaven, heaven's bodies
Whirl around me
Make me wonder
And they say back then our universe
Was an endless land until our ancestors
Woke up and before they went back to sleep
They carved it up into the world we know
Heaven, heaven's bodies
Whirl around me
Make me wonder
And they say back then our universe
Wasn't even there until a certain bang
And then there was light
Was sound, was matter
And it all became the world we know
Heaven, heaven's bodies
Whirl around me
Dance eternal

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: SIGN 'O' THE TIMES/PRINCE
In France a skinny man
Died of a big disease with a little name
By chance his girlfriend came across a needle
And soon she did the same
At home there are seventeen year old boys
And their idea of fun
Is being in a gang called the Disciples
High on crack, toting a machine gun
Time, time
Hurricane Annie ripped the ceiling of a church
And killed everyone inside
You turn on the telly and every other story
Is telling you somebody died
Sister killed her baby 'cause she could afford to feed it
And were sending people to the moon
In september my cousin tried reefer for the very first time
Now he's doing horse, it's june
Times, times
Its silly, no?
When a rocket ship explodes
And everybody still wants to fly
Some say a man ain't happy
Unless a man truly dies, oh why
Time, time
Baby make a speech, star wars fly
Neighbors just shine it on
But if a night falls and a bomb falls
Will anybody see the dawn
Time, times
Its silly, no?
When a rocket blows
And everybody still wants to fly
Some say a man ain't happy, truly
Until a man truly dies
Oh why, oh why, sign o' the times
Time, time
Sign o' the times mess with your mind
Hurry before it's to late
Let's fall in love, get married, have a baby
Well call him nate, if it's a boy
Time, time
Time, time

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: I KNOW PLACES/LYKKE LI
I know places we can go, babe
I know places we can go, babe
The high won't fade here, babe
No, the high won't hurt here, babe
I know places we can go, babe
I know places we can go, babe
Where the highs won't bring you down, babe
No, the highs won't hurt you there, babe
Don't ask me when, but ask me why
Don't ask me how, but ask me where
There is a road, there is a way
There is a place, here is a place
I know places we can go, babe
Coming home, come unfold babe
And the high won't fade here, babe
No, the high won't hurt here, babe
So, come lay
And wait
Now won't you lay
And wait, wait on me
I know places we can go, babe
Coming home, come unfold babe
I know places we can go, babe
Coming home, come unfold babe

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: ACROSS THE UNIVERSE/THE BEATLES
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me
Jai Guru Deva, Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letterbox
They tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe
Jai Guru Deva, Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Sounds of laughter, shades of life are ringing through my opened ears
Inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
And calls me on and on across the universe
Jai Guru Deva, Om

KID A/AMNESIAC: DECOLLO ED ATTERRAGGIO DEL VIAGGIO MUSICALE DEI RADIOHEAD
WHITE MOUNTAINS (Kid A blip)
