LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: THE SAME THING/CASS McCOMBS
Like a ring
Gone down the drain
Our love in sunlight
At evening pain
Like vermin
Roman sewers bring
Pain and love
Are the same thing
Are the same thing
In my opinion we are the red birth mark
From the old storybook
Equal light, equal dark
Now let’s flip a coin to see now who’s yin and who is yang
It defies opinion whether they’re the same thing
Nothing in common
Our blood thicker than broth
We’re cut from different sides of the same cloth
Our love in sunlight
Our pain at evening
Have nothing in common yet they’re both the same thing
The same thing
The same street
The same address
The same white hair
The same black dress
The same sameness
From opposites cling
Pain and love
Are the same thing
Are the same thing
In my opinion a line is never crossed
Until now I was my inner feelings were always lost
Through spirit or season
Does the human voice does sing?
Death and opinion they are the same thing
Nothing in common
Our blood thicker than broth
We’re cut from different sides of the same cloth
Our love in sunlight
Our pain at evening
Have nothing in common yet they’re both the same thing
The same thing
Nothing in common
Our blood thicker than broth
We’re cut from different sides of the same cloth
Our love in sunlight
Our pain at evening
Have nothing in common yet they’re both the same thing
The same thing

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: HYACINTH GIRL/THE EVERSONS
It's hard to make a friend
I'm really struggling to pretend
That I am interesting to talk to
And I am trying not to fish
Cos that would make me feel shit
You're unironically delightful
And all the rest, and all the rest, and all the rest
And all the rest, and all the rest, and all the rest
My courage was dutch
But the feelings aren't as such
And you were interested to talk to
And to touch, and to touch
I really hope is not to much
Without irony delightful
And all the rest, and all the rest, and all the rest
And all the rest, and all the rest, and all the rest
And she's my hyacinth girl in a floral dress
And all the rest
And she's my hyacinth girl in a floral dress
And all the rest
And she's my hyacinth girl in a floral dress
And all the rest
And she's my hyacinth girl in a floral dress
And all the rest
And all the rest
And all

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: COUNTRY FEEDBACK/R.E.M.
I R.E.M. si sono sciolti, lunga vita ai R.E.M.
This flower is scorched
This film is on
On a maddening loop
These clothes
These clothes don't fit us right
I'm to blame
It's all the same
It's all the same
You come to me with a bone in your hand
You come to me with your hair curled tight
You come to me with positions
You come to me with excuses
Ducked out in a row
You wear me out
You wear me out
We've been through fake-a-breakdown
Self hurt
Plastics, collections
Self help, self pain
EST, psychics, fuck all
I was central
I had control
I lost my head
I need this
I need this
A paper weight, junk garage
Winter rain, a honey pot
Crazy, all the lovers have been tagged
A hotline, a wanted add
It's crazy what you could've had
It's crazy what you could've had
It's crazy what you could've had
I need
I need this
It's crazy what you could've had
It's crazy what you could've had
I need
I need this
It's crazy what you could've had
It's crazy what you could've had
I need this
I, I need this
It's crazy what you could've had
I need this
I need this
It's crazy what you could've had
It's crazy what you could've had
I need this
I need this
It's crazy what you could've had
It's crazy what you could've had

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: MONTANA/YOUTH LAGOON

You wore a hoodless sweatshirt on your bed that night
With black leggings
I've never seen your face so white
Your honesty was killing me
The monsters in the room were all dancing
To the music all around us
A door is always open if it isn't closed
And a plant is said to be dead if it doesn't grow
I'll grow
I will grow
I'll grow
I will grow
I will grow
There's a spirit in Montana and in your chest, a soul
Oh, what a soul
I tried to be the middle-man between you and this list
I couldn't move as the footsteps neared closer
To me from the monsters that feed
I swore that I wouldn't bleed
I won't bleed
There's a spirit in Montana and in your chest, a note
That rings like the bells of cathedrals
Rung by the village scapegoat
As I walked slowly down your driveway to my car
I looked back and turned into salt
A pillar with a hat

Arriverà a prenderti domani sera
Metti un vestito per l’occasione
Preparati, c’è la rivoluzione
Rivoluzione
Tu credi nei miracoli che la musica sola puo’ fare
E canti le canzoni che ti han fatto sognare
E ti danno la forza di combattere ancora
Per ogni nuova battaglia
C’è una nota che ti canta in gola
Forse non sai che la primavera
Arriverà a prenderti domani sera
Metti un vestito per l’occasione
Preparati, c’è la rivoluzione
Rivoluzione
Io credo nei miracoli che la gente puo’ fare

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: MR. NOVEMBER/THE NATIONAL

This is nothing like it was in my room
In my best clothes
Trying to think of you
This is nothing like it was in my room
In my best clothes
The english are waiting
And I don't know what to do
In my best clothes
This is when I need you
The english are waiting
And I don't know what to do
In my best clothes
I'm the new blue blood
I'm the great white hope
I'm the new blue blood
I won't fuck us over
I'm Mr. November
I'm Mr. November
I won't fuck us over
I won't fuck us over
I'm Mr. November
I'm Mr. November
I won't fuck us over
I wish that I believed in fate
I wish I didn't sleep so late
I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders
I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders
I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders
I'm the new blue blood
I'm the great white hope
I'm the new blue blood
I won't fuck us over
I'm Mr. November
I'm Mr. November
I won't fuck us over
I won't fuck us over
I'm Mr. November
I'm Mr. November
I won't fuck us over
I won't fuck us over
I won't fuck us over
I won't fuck us over

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: MISTAKEN FOR STRANGERS/THE NATIONAL
You have to do it running but you do everything that they ask you to
'Cause you don't mind seeing yourself in a picture as long as you look faraway
As long as you look removed
Showered and blue-blazered
Fill yourself with quarters
Fhowered and blue-blazered
Fill yourself with quarters
You get mistaken for strangers by your own friends
When you pass them at night under the silvery, silvery city bank lights
Arm in arm in arm and eyes and eyes glazing under
You wouldn't want an angel watching over
Surprise, surprise they wouldn't wannna watch
Another uninnocent, elegant fall into the unmagnificent lives of adults
Make up something to believe in your heart of hearts
So you have something to wear on your sleeve of sleeves
So you swear you just saw a feathery woman
Carry a blindfolded man through the trees
Showered and blue-blazered
Fill yourself with quarters
Fhowered and blue-blazered
Fill yourself with quarters
You get mistaken for strangers by your own friends
When you pass them at night under the silvery, silvery city bank lights
Arm in arm in arm and eyes and eyes glazing under
You wouldn't want an angel watching over
Surprise, surprise they wouldn't wannna watch
Another uninnocent, elegant fall into the unmagnificent lives of adults
You get mistaken for strangers by your own friends
When you pass them at night under the silvery, silvery city bank lights
Arm in arm in arm and eyes and eyes glazing under

CONCERTI: PJ HARVEY/AUDITORIUM PARCO DELLA MUSICA/ROMA
RID OF ME
