LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: LA FEE VERTE/KASABIAN

Old green fairy what you’ve done to me
I see Lucy in the sky telling me I’m high
I went out for some milk three days ago
I met Dalí in the street
He knocked me off my feet

Now I start to see that all’s not well
There’s policemen in my bed telling me I’m dead
If only I could show them what I’ve seen
I’ll have to take you down below
Where insects run the show

Sound and vision turning inside out
The lines make you look older then you’re gone

And everyday I got someone bringing me down
I got the eyes of a madman
I’m chasing round
How does it feel to live your life where nothing is real?
So just send me down the river

The neighbours say that I need locking up
Well it wouldn’t be a first to want me in a hearse
No one sleeps for I am still awake
Pass me over la fée verte
I’ll give you all a scare

Dogs in handbags, everyone’s a star
You look behind your eyelids then you’re gone

And everyday I got someone bringing me down
I got the eyes of a madman
I’m chasing round
How does it feel to live your life where nothing is real?
So just send me down the river

I’m not gonna wait for tomorrow
I just look back and wait for a sign
And I’m not gonna celebrate my freedom
So just send me down the river

And everyday I got someone bringing me down
I got the eyes of a madman, I’m chasing round
How does it feel to live your life where nothing is real?
So just send me down the river

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: AFRAID/DAVID BOWIE

I wish I was smarter
I got so lost on the shore
I wish I was taller
Things really matter to me

But I put my faith in tomorrow
I believe we're not alone
I believe in Beatles
I believe my little soul has grown

And I'm still
So afraid
Yes, I'm still
So afraid
I'm still
So afraid
On my own
On my own

What made my life so wonderful?
What made me feel so bad?
I used to wake up the ocean
I used to walk on clouds

If I put faith in medication
If I can smile a crooked smile
If I can talk on television
If I can walk an empty mile

Then I won't
Feel afraid
No, I won't
Feel afraid
I won't be
Be afraid
Anymore
Anymore
And then I just won't be afraid
Anymore
And then I just won't be afraid

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: REVOLVING DOORS/GORILLAZ

Revolving doors, what have I done?
Someone on the TV, tipping low
Revolving doors, what will I become?
And red-neck song
You payed up for a seven
But he only got an eight, eight, now, now
I feel that I'm paused
By all the bills, I seem to run in

On a foggy day
(Revolving doors)

I sit in a diner, and The Beatles play
I payed up for a seven, but I only got SOA, now, now
I feel I'm paused
By all the bills, I seem to run out here

Revolving doors, stole me on the eastern sea board
He got silver on his nose?
He payed up for three, but got only two
And he said "Seems I was born for this"
"Seems I was born to this"
Revolving doors
Revolving doors

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: HELLO GOODBYE/THE BEATLES

You say yes, I say no
You say stop and I say go, go, go
Oh, no
You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello

I say high, you say low
You say why and I say I don't know
Oh, no
You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello

Oh, no
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello

You say yes (I say yes)
I say no (but I may mean no)
You say stop (I can stay)
And I say go, go, go (till it's time to go)
Oh, no
You say goodbye and I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello, hello
I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: ELEANOR RIGBY/THE BEATLES

Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people

Eleanor Rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been
Lives in a dream
Waits at the window, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear
No one comes near
Look at him working
Darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there
What does he care?

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people

Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name
Nobody came
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave
No one was saved

All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: HELTER SKELTER/U2

When you get to the bottom
You go back to the top of the slide
And you stop and you turn
And you go for a ride
Then you get to the bottom
Then you see me again

Do you, don't you want me to love you
Coming down fast, I'm right here above you
Tell me tell me tell me the answer
Ain't no lover but you ain't no dancer

Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter

Do you, don't you want me to make you
I'm coming down fast now, don't let me break you
Tell me tell me tell me the answer
You ain't no lover but you ain't no dancer

Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter

When you get to the bottom
You go back to the top of the slide
And you turn and you stop
And you go for a ride
Then you get to the bottom
Then you see me again

Do you or don't you want me to love you
Coming down fast I'm right here above you

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: I WILL NEVER LOVE YOU MORE/SOKO

I will never love you more than the drummer of Flaming Lips
I will never love you more than Woody Allen movies
I will never love you more than the White album of the Beatles
I will never love you more than god only knows

I will never love you more than DVD's night with my girlfriend
And we talk about stupid things like feelings and men
I will never love you more than my boyfriend when I was 14
Even if he's now an asshole, I will never love you more

And you say, you love me more than everything
And compared to me everything is nothing

I will never love you more than meeting Paul McCartney
And we asked him to play a song on my ukulele
I will never love you more than my scandinavian tour
Which was more than paradise, I wish you remember it too

I will never love you more than dancing to Phil Spektor
I will never love you more than my Casiotone keyboard
I will never love you more than Daniel Johnston himself
For me he's more than god, I will never love you more

And you say, you love me more than everything
And compared to me everything is nothing

Ohh this is sweet, I just wonder what it means

You say you love me more, than all the girls you have had before
Even more than music, even more than yourself
Even more than everything, but it's just a lie
So I will never love you more, than anything

I will never love you more than singing in the shower
I will never love you more than my Mac computer
I will never love you more than having a daughter
I will never love you more than peanut butter

I will never love you more than kisses all day
I will never love you more than cuddles all night
I will never love you more than kissing girls lips when they're really pretty

I will never love you more
I will never love you more

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: CAN'T BUY ME LOVE/THE BEATLES

Can't buy me love, love
Can't buy me love

I'll buy you a diamond ring my friend if it makes you feel alright
I'll get you anything my friend if it makes you feel alright
'Cause I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love

I'll give you all I got to give if you say you love me too
I may not have a lot to give but what I got I'll give to you
I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love

Can't buy me love, everybody tells me so
Can't buy me love, no no no, no

Say you don't need no diamond ring and I'll be satisfied
Tell me that you want the kind of thing that money just can't buy
I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: ACROSS THE UNIVERSE/THE BEATLES

Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me

Jai Guru Deva, Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes
They call me on and on across the universe
Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letterbox
They tumble blindly as they make their way across the universe

Jai Guru Deva, Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter, shades of life are ringing through my opened ears
Inciting and inviting me
Limitless undying love which shines around me like a million suns
And calls me on and on across the universe

Jai Guru Deva, Om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world
Nothing's gonna change my world

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: BROKEN LOVE SONG/PETER DOHERTY

Take a broken love song
Keep it by your side
Never be lonely
Find a place to hide

By the west way
Inside the scrubs
How long must we wait
For they're killing us
Killing us

They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
Still

Through my cell window
Hear the loft boys sing
Come on you r's
Carried on the wind

Every morning
I'll be singing
Like a caged bird who might say
John, Paul, George and Ringo
Help me pass the hours away

Free as a bird
Would I be
Another dawn creeps up on me
On me

They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
Still

Letters from faceless haters
That'd love to
See my swinging in my cell
Oh, I never saw a man
Who looked like such a wistful eye
Upon the little tent of blue prisoners
Call the sky

They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
They are the loneliest
Still

ASCOLTI: DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL/DANGER MOUSE AND SPARKLEHORSE

ASCOLTA

We really love you and we need you
And oh, banana co.
We'd really love to believe you, but
Everything's underground
We gotta dig it up somehow

Oh, she said no go
She said she'd like to
She's seen you
But no, banana co.
She knows if you die then we all do
Everything's burning down
We gotta dig it up somehow

Everything's burning down
We gotta put it out somehow

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: I AM THE WALRUS/BONO AND THE SECRET MACHINES

I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together
See how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly
I'm crying

Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come
Corporation T-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday
Man, you've been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long

I am the Eggman
They are the Eggmen
I am the Walrus
Goo goo g'joob

Mister city, policeman sitting, pretty little policemen in a row
See how they fly like Lucy in the Sky, see how they run
I'm crying
I'm crying
I'm crying
I'm crying

Yellow matter custard dripping from a dead dog's eye
Crab locker fishwife, pornographic priestess
Boy, you've been a naughty girl, you let your knickers down

I am the Eggman
They are the Eggmen
I am the Walrus
Goo goo g'joob

Sitting in an English garden, waiting for the sun
If the sun don't come you get a tan from standing in the English rain

I am the Eggman
They are the Eggmen
I am the Walrus
Goo goo g'joob goo goo g'joob

Expert texpert, choking smokers
Don't you think the Joker laughs at you?
Ho-ho-ho-hee-hee-hee-ha-ha-ha
See how they smile like pigs in a sty, see how they snide
I'm crying

Semolina pilchard climbing up the Eiffel Tower
Elementary penguin singing Hare Krishna
Man, you should've seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe

I am the Eggman
They are the Eggmen
I am the Walrus
Goo goo g'joob goo goo g'joob
Goo goo g'joob goo goo g'joob
Goo goo g'joob goo goo g'joob
Juba, juba, juba
Juba, juba
Juba, juba
Juba, juba, stick it up your jumper
Oompah, oompah, stick it up your jumper
Oompah, oompah, stick it up your jumper
Everyone's got one
Oompah, oompah, stick it up your jumper
Everyone's got one
Everyone's got one
Everyone's got one
Oompah, oompah, stick it up your jumper
Oompah, oompah, stick it up your jumper

Slave, thou hast slain me. Villain, take my purse
If ever thou wilt thrive, bury my body
And give the letters which you find'st about me
To Edmund, Earl of Gloucester
Seek him out
Upon the English party
O, untimely death!
Death! (He dies)

I know thee well: a serviceable villain
As duteous to the vices of thy mistress
As badness would desire

What, is he dead?

Sit you down, father
Rest you

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: INSTANT KARMA/JOHN LENNON

Instant Karma's gonna get you
Gonna knock you right on the head
You better get yourself together
Pretty soon you're gonna be dead
What in the world you thinking of
Laughing in the face of love
What on earth you tryin' to do
It's up to you, yeah you

Instant Karma's gonna get you
Gonna look you right in the face
Better get yourself together darlin'
Join the human race
How in the world you gonna see
Laughin' at fools like me
Who in the hell d'you think you are
A super star
Well, right you are

Well we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun
Well we all shine on
Ev'ryone come on

Instant Karma's gonna get you
Gonna knock you off your feet
Better recognize your brothers
Ev'ryone you meet
Why in the world are we here
Surely not to live in pain and fear
Why on earth are you there
When you're ev'rywhere
Come and get your share

Well we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun
Yeah we all shine on
Come on and on and on on on
Yeah yeah, alright, uh huh, ah

Well we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun
Yeah we all shine on
On and on and on on and on

Well we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun
Well we all shine on

KID A/AMNESIAC: DECOLLO ED ATTERRAGGIO DEL VIAGGIO MUSICALE DEI RADIOHEAD

WHITE MOUNTAINS (Kid A blip)
