Anche per il batterista dei Radiohead è arrivato il momento del disco da solitsta, Familial, in uscita il prossimo 30 di agosto. Dal suo sito ufficiale, in cambio della registrazione, si può scaricare il pezzo By Some Miracle.

POST-IT: PHIL SELWAY (RADIOHEAD)

Phil Selway è il batterista dei Radiohead, e dopo Thom Yorke sarà il secondo componente del gruppo a pubblicare un disco da solista: il musicista è infatti impegnato nella registrazione delle sue canzoni nello studio della band nell'Oxfordshire. Nel disco troveranno spazio ospiti di riguardo come Glenn Kotche e Pat Sansone dei Wilco, Lisa Germano e il bassista dei Soul Coughing Sebastian Steinberg. Al momento non si conoscono nè il titolo dell'album, nè tantomeno l'eventuale data di pubblicazione. Prima di questo progetto, Selway aveva lavorato (assieme ad Ed O'Brien) alla compilation benefica 7 Words Collide - The Sun Came Up, uscita lo scorso 31 Agosto, componendo 2 brani per l'occasione (The Ties That Bind Us e The Witching Hour).
