LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: SINFUL NATURE/BEAR IN HEAVEN
Friends don't know, friends don't know what we go through
Mention your feet, mention the strange things they do
Surrender your will, surrender yourself in thrones
Are for real, or are you hiding your sinful nature
I know what it means, it's a pain
I know what it means, it's just a face
Just don't go
Out of the day, into your whole universe
You let them back up, you let them might falling strangers
They don't speak in your face and push you back into your shell
They all sing shitty songs and suck all your blood on the wall
Just don't go
Screaming your heart out, screaming you into the forest
Sinful nature
You should have won, you need to be out on your own
Left in your day and makes unstrange things call to you
You know the deal, you don't deny it in your sinful nature
I know what it means, it's a pain
I know what it means, it's just a face
Just don't go

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: MYTH/BEACH HOUSE
Drifting in and out
See the road you're on
You came rolling down the cheek
Say just what you need
And in between it’s never as it seems
Help me to make it
Help me to make it
If you build yourself a myth
Know just what to give
What comes after this
Momentarily bliss
Consequence of what you do to me
Help me to make it
Help me to make it
Found yourself in a new direction
Eons far from the sun
Can you come when they come to reach you
Let you know you’re not the only one
Can’t keep hanging on
To all that’s dead and gone
If you build yourself a myth
Know just what to give
Do you lie?
We’ll let the ashes fly
Help me to make it
Help me to make it

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: EVERYTHING IS BURNING/MESITA
Seeing everything is burning
Dance all in the flames and fall in
Coughing up the blood that spills in
Losing hold a lasting spirit
Once a prince and now is fading
Hopeless for the time spent caving
Fearing for a darker feeling
Chasing all the demons leering
When everything is
Everything is burning
Everything is
An endgame waiting
Loving something not returning
Searching for a left turn somewhere
See a light into the distance
Keeping strong in its persistence
Building for a better future
Chasing for a deeper meaning
Gaining all in newfound courage
Striking down the demons leering
When everything is
Everything is burning
Everything is
An endgame waiting

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: WEIGHTS & MEASURES/DRY THE RIVER
I was prepared to love you
And never expect anything of you
If the spirit has left you baby
Don't lie to yourself
Put them old records on
And admit that it's gone somewhere else
Just because we're beasts of blame by nature
Doesn't mean that you should carry it again
It's a question of needs and not rosary beads in the end
I was prepared to love you
And never expect anything of you
And there's no patron saint of sudden restraint
Baby there ain't no sword in a lake
Just a funeral wake
And in comes the black night
Calling your name since you were born
I couldn't hear it
I was empty as a drum
I was prepared to love you
And never expect anything of you
And there's no patron saint of sudden restraint
Baby there ain't no sword in a lake
Just a funeral wake

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: ABRAHAM'S DAUGHTER/ARCADE FIRE
In the hold of Isaac’s hand and led him to the lonesome hill
While his daughter hid and watched
She dare not breathe she was so still
Just as the angel cried for the slaughter
Abraham’s daughter raised her voice
Then the angel asked her what her name was
She said I have none
Then he asked how can this be?
My father never gave me one
And when he saw her raised for the slaughter
Abraham’s daughter raised her bold
How dare you child defy your father?
You better than young Isaac cold

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: WATERLIGHT PARK (Demo)/CHAPEL CLUB
A mild month for weather but a late storm sees
The first berries torn from the rowan trees
Their bodies stain the stone in Waterlight Park
Small deaths, unmourned by the gathering dark
And as you might suppose, my mind finds a start
Turn on the radio and dreams they drift apart
Here in London town where
Every child's a Herod to himself and others
I hear a lonesome whistle
I watch and the only answer made
Comes from a black-suited cannonade
Pounding the corpses with a stern expression
Shaming the loud blood's indiscretion
And as you might suppose, I'm that bleeding heart
I believe in something more than you can fix upon a chart
Here in London town where
Every man's a Judas to himself and others
I hear a lonesome whistle
But there is another answer, now I see
In the up-thrown arms of the rowan trees
Crazed with dismay by what the storm has done
Cradling in shadow their fallen sons
And as you might suppose, I've a broken heart
And as you might suppose, I've a broken heart
And as you might suppose, I've a broken heart
And as you might suppose, I've a broken heart
