LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: THE RIDDLE/NIK KERSHAW
I got two strong arms
Blessings of Babylon time
To carry on and try for sins and false alarms
So to America the brave wise men save
Near a tree by a river there's a hole in the ground
Where an old man of Aran goes around and around
And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night
For a strange kind of fashion there's a wrong and a right
But he'll never, never fight over you
I got plans for us
Nights in the scullery
And days instead of me
I only know what to discuss
For anything but light
Wise men fighting over you
It's not me, you see
Pieces of Valentine
And just a song of mine
To keep from burning history
Seasons of gasoline and gold
Wise men fold
Near a tree by a river there's a hole in the ground
Where an old man of Aran goes around and around
And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night
For a strange kind of fashion there's a wrong and a right
But he'll never, never fight over you
I got time to kill
Sly looks in corridors without a plan of yours
A blackbird sings on bluebird hill
Thanks to the calling of the wild
Wise men child
Near a tree by a river there's a hole in the ground
Where an old man of Aran goes around and around
And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night
For a strange kind of fashion there's a wrong and a right
But he'll never, never fight
Near a tree by a river there's a hole in the ground
Where an old man of Aran goes around and around
And his mind is a beacon in the veil of the night
For a strange kind of fashion there's a wrong and a right
But he'll never, never fight over you
No he'll never, never fight over you

Ci scusiamo per la momentanea interruzione, le selezioni riprenderanno martedì 12 luglio.
LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: SET FIRE TO THE RAIN/ADELE
I let it fall my heart
And as it fell you also claim it
It was dark and I was all right
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me
My hands, they're strong, but my knees were far too weak
Stand in your arms without falling into your feet
But there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew
All the things you say, they were never true, never true
And the games you play, you would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watch it pour as I touched your face
Let it burn while I cry
'Cause I heard it screaming at your name, your name
When I'm with you, I could stay there
Close my eyes, feel you're here forever
You and me together, nothing is better
'Cause there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew
All the things you say, they were never true, never true
And the games you play, you would always win, always win
But I set fire to the rain
Watch it pour as I touched your face
Let it burn while I cry
'Cause I heard it screaming at your name, your name
I set fire to the rain
And I feel lost into the phase
And it felt something nice
'Cause I knew that that was the last time, last time
Sometimes I wake up by the door
And hope you're gone, must be waiting further
Even that when it's already over
I can't help myself from looking further
I set fire to the rain
Watch it pour as I touch your face
Let it burn when I cry
'Cause I heard it screaming at your name, your name
I set fire to the rain
And I feel lost into the phase
And it felt something nice
'Cause I knew that that was the last time
The last time
Let it burn
Let it burn
Let it burn

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN/CULTS
I, I can't take things slowly
Come let away that's what they all do
Help me cause I'm feeling shaky
Tell me what's wrong with my brain
'Cause I seem to have lost it
'Cause I am afraid of the light
You know what I mean
And I can't sleep alone at night
You know what I mean
Lonely, that's not quite my problem
I have all I need, haven't quite lost it
I try so hard to be happy
'Cause something goes on once again
Please, please come and save me
Tell me what's wrong with my brain
'Cause I seem to have lost it
'Cause I am afraid of the light
You know what I mean
'Cause I can't sleep alone at night
You know what I mean
'Cause I am afraid of the light
You know what I mean
'Cause I can't sleep alone at night
You know what I mean

LA CANZONE DEL GIORNO: HOUSE/PATRICK WOLF
I love this house, I love this house
Gives me the greatest peace I've ever known
I love to hear those conkers fall
Smash 'em on and Suffolk stone
That I love that here you live with me
Gives me the greatest peace I've ever known
Cause I've been too long a lonely man
Yes I've been too long a rolling stone
So let seasons turn
Grow paradise garden
And to my migration
the native has returned
I love the curling of your hair
Gives me the greatest peace I've ever known
I see your Dylan Thomas in your face
The silent buckling in your grace
Grace, grace, your grace
So let seasons turn
Grow paradise garden
And to my migration
The native has returned
And if I have to die today
Scatter my ashes on this place
And I'll live on in your grieving heart
but until that day that we depart
This is the greatest peace I've known
The greatest peace I've ever known
The greatest peace I've ever known
The love makes this house a home
Home, home, home
This house is home
Home
